THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR CAREGIVING WORKS IN THREE KEY AREAS: RESEARCH, ADVOCACY, AND INNOVATION. WE PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND NETWORKING FOR MORE THAN 80 STATE AND LOCAL CAREGIVING COALITIONS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. NOTABLE EFFORTS OF THE ALLIANCE DURING 2021 INCLUDED THE RELEASE OF CARING FOR THE CAREGIVER: INCENTIVIZING MEDICAL PROVIDERS TO INCLUDE CAREGIVERS AS PART OF THE TREATMENT TEAM, A REPORT EXAMINING AVAILABLE INCENTIVES IN THE EXISTING MEDICARE PROGRAM; LESSONS FROM THE WORKPLACE: CAREGIVING DURING COVID-19, DETAILING THE CHALLENGES FACED BY WORKING CAREGIVERS AND RECOMMENDING SOLUTIONS; AND CAREGIVING IN A DIVERSE AMERICA A REPORT EXAMINING SYSTEMIC CHALLENGES FACING FAMILY CAREGIVERS.
