ADVOCACY & ORGANIZING: REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM FOR ALL ORGANIZES OUR 4 MILLION MEMBERS TO ENSURE LEADERS AT EVERY LEVEL HEAR FROM THEIR CONSTITUENTS-THE 8 IN 10 AMERICANS WHO SUPPORT LEGAL ABORTION. THAT MEANS EDUCATING PEOPLE ACROSS THE COUNTRY, INCLUDING OUR MEMBERS, LAWMAKERS, AND OTHER INFLUENCERS ABOUT THE PERNICIOUS IMPACTS OF ANTI-CHOICE POLICIES, AS WELL AS WORKING ALONGSIDE OUR PARTNERS TO PROMOTE PROGRESSIVE, PROACTIVE POLICIES THAT ADVANCE REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM. WE WORK TO SUPPORT ELECTED OFFICIALS WHO DON'T JUST PAY LIP SERVICE TO THE VALUES OF REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM, BUT WHO TRULY FIGHT FOR THEM-AND WE HOLD ACCOUNTABLE THOSE WHO WANT TO ROLL BACK THE CLOCK ON OUR RIGHTS.
COMMUNICATIONS: OUR ORGANIZING PROGRAM GOES HAND-IN-HAND WITH OUR ROBUST COMMUNICATIONS, DIGITAL, AND RESEARCH PROGRAMS, WHICH WE LEVERAGE TO DRIVE THE NATIONAL NARRATIVE AROUND ABORTION ACROSS THE COUNTRY, LIFT UP CHAMPIONS FOR REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM AND HIGHLIGHT THE VOICES OF MARGINALIZED GROUPS AND THOSE DISPROPORTIONATELY IMPACTED BY RESTRICTIONS. WE USE REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM FOR ALL'S INNOVATIVE, SOPHISTICATED, AND DATA-DRIVEN MESSAGE RESEARCH PROGRAM-BASED IN COGNITIVE AND BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE-TO EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE WITH THE 8 IN 10 AMERICANS WHO BELIEVE ABORTION SHOULD BE LEGAL, REACHING THEM USING CHANNELS AND MESSENGERS THAT THEY TRUST, WHILE COUNTERING ANTI-CHOICE ATTACKS AND DISINFORMATION. WE MONITOR AND TRACK MEDIA COVERAGE, WORK DIRECTLY WITH THE PRESS TO SHAPE THE NARRATIVE, SHARE RESEARCH AND STORIES, AND PUBLISH OP-EDS, ALL WHILE EDUCATING AND MOBILIZING MILLIONS OF PEOPLE THROUGH OUR DIGITAL PROGRAM FOR POLICIES THAT PROTECT AND EXPAND REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM.
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS: OUR GOVERNMENT RELATIONS TEAM TRACKS AND ANALYZES POLICY AT BOTH THE FEDERAL AND STATE LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT, AND PROVIDES STRATEGIES TO ADDRESS POLICIES THAT AFFECT REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM. THEY PROVIDE INPUT ON ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGY RELATING TO PRIORITY LEGISLATION AND ANTI-CHOICE LEGISLATIVE INITIATIVES, INCLUDING ACCOUNTABILITY CAMPAIGNS FOR STATE AND FEDERAL ELECTED OFFICIALS, AS WELL AS ENGAGING NARAL'S MEMBERSHIP EFFECTIVELY TO ADVOCATE IN WASHINGTON AND IN THE HALLS OF STATE GOVERNMENT.
