ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE: SUPPORTS AFTER SCHOOL ACADEMIC CLUBS FOR ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTION IN MATH, READING, AND WRITING (INCLUDING BUS SERVICE); THE PURCHASE OF MOBILE LAPTOPS AND OTHER TECHNOLOGY TO SUPPORT LEARNING IN THE CLASSROOM; ADDITIONAL TEACHER TRAINING; AND THE PURCHASE OF BOOKS FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH: FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDES GRANTS TO HELP OTHER ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN THE MCPS SYSTEM WHOSE STUDENTS ARE ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED.
