MSBH IS A PRIVATE, NOT-FOR-PROFIT 501C3 REGIONAL CORE SERVICE AGENCY CSA/PUBLIC BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AUTHORITY SERVING CAROLINE, DORCHESTER, KENT, QUEEN ANNES, AND TALBOT COUNTIES OF MARYLAND. MSBH IS ONE OF MARYLANDS LARGEST CSA, WITH PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING COMMUNITY PLANNING, MANAGEMENT, AND MONITORING OF PUBLICLY FUNDED MEDICALLY NECESSARY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS, ADULTS, AND THE AGING POPULATION. MSBH DEVELOPS AND MANAGES COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAMS TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED OF SERVICES THAT ARE IN THE PUBLIC BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SYSTEM OR RENDERED BY GRANT FUNDED PROGRAMS.
