MISSION; THE FAIR HILL ENVIRONMENTAL FOUNDATION, INC. IS A PRIVATE NON-PROFIT NATURAL HISTORY AND ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING CENTER SERVING STUDENTS AND ADULTS FROM THE TRI-STATE AREA OF NORTHEASTERN MARYLAND, SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA AND NORTHERN DELAWARE. OUR AIM IS TO PROMOTE RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP THROUGH AN APPRECIATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF OUR ENVIRONMENT. VISION; WE ENVISION A REGIONAL COMMUNITY WHERE PEOPLE RESPECT, PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND IT'S RESOURCES. GOALS: 1) RAISE AWARENESS AMONG CHILDREN AND ADULTS REGARDING THE INTERRELATIONSHIPS THAT OCCUR IN NATURE AND THE INTERDEPENDENCE OF THE ENVIRONMENT, OUR HEALTH, THE ECONOMY AND CULTURE. 2) INCREASE ACTIONS AMONG CITIZENRY THAT DEMONSTRATE ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILTY. 3) STRENGTHEN PUBLIC ADVOCACY TOWARDS THE PROTECTION, PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY WATERSHED.
