PROVIDE FREE ASSISTANCE TO NEEDY PERSONS AND FAMILIES IN UPPER MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD AND ADJACENT AREAS IN THE FORM OF EMERGENCY FOOD, HOLIDAY FOOD, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, TRANSPORTATION TO MEDICAL AND SOCIAL SERVICE APPOINTMENTS, CLOTHING, FURNITURE AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WAS GIVEN FOR GASOLINE, PRESCRIPTIONS, RENTS, AND UTILITIES FOR A TOTAL OF 240 PEOPLE.
THERE WERE 446 FOOD DELIVERIES FOR THE 2021 YEAR IN THE FORM OF AT LEAST A THREE DAYS' WORTH OF GROCERIES TO HELP 116 FAMILIES FOR A TOTAL OF 412 PEOPLE. THERE WERE 38 FAMILIES WHO RECEIVED HOLIDAY FOOD FOR BOTH THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS.
VOLUNTEERS GAVE TRANSPORTATION TO MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS FOR 6 PEOPLE.
DONATED FURNITURE, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND CLOTHES WERE DELIVERED BY OUR VOLUNTEERS HELPING 20 FAMILIES.
