AFCEA CENTRAL MARYLAND CHAPTER IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONALS. OUR CHAPTERS SERVE THE MILITARY, GOVERNMENT, INDUSTRY, AND ACADEMIA AS AN ETHICAL FORUM FOR ADVANCING PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND RELATIONSHIPS. ALL FUNDS FROM THESE EVENTS SUPPORT OUR EDUCATION FOUNDATION BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS ENTERING THE ENGINEERING, COMPUTER SCIENCE, OR MATHEMATICAL FIELDS.

THIS CHAPTER PROVIDES A FORUM FOR THE ENGINEERING, SCIENCE, AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONALS TO COME TOGETHER TO EXCHANGE KNOWLEDGE, IDEAS, AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. THE CENTRAL MARYLAND CHAPTER AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO OUTSTANDING GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS AND COLLEGE STUDENTS WITH AN INTEREST IN A FIELD OF STUDY SUPPORTIVE OF NATIONAL DEFENSE. ALSO GRANTS ARE GIVEN TO SCHOOLS TO SUPPORT STEM ACTIVITIES.
