THE DETROIT CHAPTER PROVIDED A $2,000 SCHOLARSHIP TO A DESERVING STUDENT IN THE FINE AND PERFORMING ARTSHELD THE 19TH NATIONAL ASSEMBLY MEETING. PROMOATED ARTS PROJECTS AND ARTS APPRECIATION. LOCAL, STATE LEVEL CHAPTERS ENGAGED IN NUMEROUS ACTIVITIES THAT HAVE A SOLID NEXUS IN PROMOTING A VARIETY OF ARTS BY ATTENDING MUSICAL, DANCE, THEATRE, SINGING, ORCHESTRA PERFORMANCES, LECTURES, ART EXHIBITS, BOOK REVIEWS, PAINTING, DRAMA, FABRIC DESIGN, PAINTING AND THE LIKE.
HELD QUARTERLY MEETINGS TO HIGHLIGHT THE ARTISTIC OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN SPECIFIC GEOGRAPHIC AREAS.
