ZOO EDUCATION PROGRAM - TO PROVIDE BETTER PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE ZOO THROUGH TOURS, DEMONSTRATIONS, PROGRAMS AND LECTURES AT THE ZOO AND IN THE COMMUNITY. THE ZOO COMMISSION FUNDED THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT THAT PROVIDES WILDLIFE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ANNUALLY TO OVER 20,000 STUDENTS FROM THE DELMARVA PENINSULA.


ZOO CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT - TO PROMOTE ANIMAL CONSERVATION AND WILDLIFE PROTECTION. THE SALISBURY ZOO COMMISSION RAISES OVER $1,000 YEARLY TO CONTRIBUTE TO OTHER ANIMAL CONSERVATION PROGRAMS.
