DURING 2017, NATIONAL CHAPTER AAZK WAS THE HOST OF THE AAZK ANNUAL CONFERENCE.THIS CONFERENCE BROUGHT TOGETHER SEVERAL HUNDRED PEOPLE WITHIN THE ZOOLOGICAL COMMUNITY, ALLOWING ITS ATTENDEES THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE BEST PRACTICES IN ANIMAL HUSBANDRY, LEARN OF BREAKTHROUGHS IN ZOOLOGICAL RESEARCH AND PARTICIPATE IN CONSERVATION PROGRAMS.
