CURRENT LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITY; THE OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO ENCOURAGE PLANNING THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE PUBLIC WELL BEING BY DEVELOPING COMMUNITIES THAT MEET THE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE MORE EFFECTIVELY. THIS SUPPORTS OUR EXEMPT PURPOSE OF BEING AN ORGANIZATION OF PROFESSIONALS AND CITIZEN PLANNERS PROVIDING VISION AND LEADERSHIP FOR THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF COLORADO COMMUNITIES.


EDUCATION THROUGH CONFERENCES; LOCAL EVENTS TO PROMOTE PLANNING AWARENESS ON ISSUES; THE ASSOCIATION SERVES AS A FORUM TO EXCHANGE IDEAS AND EXPERIENCES TO BUILD COOPERATION AMONG PLANNERS, ALLIED PROFESSIONALS AND THE PUBLIC THROUGH EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. MEMBERSHIP REMAINED AT 1,500 MEMBERS AND CONFERENCES WERE ATTENDED BY 500 PARTICIPANTS.
