SPAY/NEUTER/FERAL PROGRAM - FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROVIDED TO ANIMAL OWNERS FOR SPAY/NEUTER SERVICES. MAY INCLUDE COST OF VACCINATIONS OR FLEA TREATMENT. A SPECIAL PROGRAM PROVIDES SPAY/NEUTER/VACCINATION/TREATMENT OF ILLNESS FOR FERAL CATS IN THE COMMUNITY. 3,098 ANIMALS WERE HELPED DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2021. ANIMAL RESCUE/ADOPTION - CATS AND DOGS ARE REMOVED FROM ADVERSE/DANGEROUS OR INAPPROPRIATE LIVING SITUATIONS. THEY ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED/TREATED FOR ANY ILLNESSES AND PLACED IN FOSTER FACILITIES HOMES TO AWAIT ADOPTION OR RELOCATION. EMERGENCY AID - FUNDING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO NEED EMERGENCY AID FOR THEIR ANIMAL DUE TO INJURY OR ILLNESS. INCLUDES DONATIONS OF DOG & CAT FOOD TO A LOCAL FOOD PANTRY FOR THOSE UNABLE TO AFFORD ANIMAL FOOD.
VAN PURCHASED FOR TRANSPORT OF ANIMALS BETWEEN SHELTER, SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC, AND FOSTER/RESCUE HOMES.
