CERVICAL SPINE RESEARCH SOCIETY IS A NATIONAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ORGANIZED TO CONDUCT EDUCATION SEMINARS, RESEARCH AND PROGRAMS CONCERNING THE EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF PATIENTS WITH ACUTE AND CHRONIC PROBLEMS OF THE CERVICAL SPINE.

THE 2021 CSRS INSTRUCTIONAL COURSE AND ANNUAL MEETING WERE HELD IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA AND ACCOMPLISHED THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES: - REVIEW APPROPRIATE ANATOMY OF THE CERVICAL SPINE. - COMPARE THE METHODS FOR DIAGNOSIS OF NECK DISORDERS. - EVALUATE OPERATIVE AND NON-OPERATIVE TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR CERVICAL SPINE DISORDERS. - RECOGNIZE AND RESPOND TO COMPLICATIONS OF SURGICAL TREATMENT. - EXCHANGE INFORMATION ON CERVICAL SPINE RESEARCH, DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT WITH BOTH US AND INTERNATIONAL SURGEONS.
IN 2021 CSRS AWARDED JUST OVER $300,000 IN RESEARCH GRANTS, AWARD PAPERS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS FURTHERING THEIR MISSION OF CARRYING OUT RESEARCH AND THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION ON THE CERVICAL SPINE.
THE 2021 HANDS-ON SURGICAL TECHNIQUES COURSE WAS HELD IN CARMEL, INDIANA AND HOSTED OVER 70 ATTENDEES, FACULTY AND CORPORATE REPRESENTATIVES. THE THREE DAY COURSE FEATURED SURGICAL TECHNIQUES PUT ON THROUGH PRESENTATIONS AND LABS.
