WITH FUNDING FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF AGING AND COMMUNITY LIVING, TERRIFIC INC'S REGIONAL SENIOR SERVICE AGENCY(RESSA) SERVES DISTRICT RESIDENTS 60 YEARS OLD AND OLDER IN DISTRICT WARDS 1,2 AND 4. THIS CENTRALIZED RESSA SERVICES INCLUDE 19 COMMUNITY DINNING SITES, DAILY MEALS TO HOMEBOUND SENIORS NUTRITION SERVICES, CARGIVER RESPITE CARE; SOCIAL RECREATIONAL/CULTURAL ACTIVITIES; HEALTH PROMOTIONS; OASIS HOMELESS SENIOR CENTER, THE ASIAN PACIFIC ISLANDER SENIOR CENTER.


TERRIFIC, INC AND BOCA PHARMACY GROUP STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP AND ALLIANCE IS TO DELIVER EXPERTISE AND COMMITTED CARE TO CHALLENGED/ HIGH RISK/UNDERSERVED TERRIFIC INC. CONSUMERS. TERRIFIC INC. AND BOCA PHARMACY GROUP AIM IS TO GREATLY ENHANCE PATIENTS' MEDICAL COMPLIANCE, MEDICAL PARTICIPATION RATES, AND OVERALL HEALTH OUTCOMES THROUGH RED CARPET, SIMPLE ACCESS, NO COST HOME DELIVERED PRESCRIPTION DELIVERY, AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT SERVICES.


SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING: THE SENIOR CITIZEN INDEPENDENT-LIVING HOUSING PROGRAM IS OPERATED THROUGH THE TERRIFIC INN #1 PROJECT. THE INN PROVIDES HOUSING FOR 14 LOW INCOME ADULTS. THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING (HUD) FINANCED THE PURCHASE OF THE BUILDING AND PROVIDES TENANT RENT SUBSIDIES. TENANT PAYS INCOME BASED CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THEIR RENT.


HIV NON MEDICAL CASE MANAGMENT AND HIV HOUSING COUNSELING PROGRAM. TERRIFIC INC. PROVIDES HIV NON MEDICAL CASE SERVICESAND HIV HOUSING COUNSELING PROGRAMS TO DISTRICT RESIDENTS LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS. SERVICES ENSURE QUALITY CARE AND HEALTHY LIVING FOR PERSONS LIVING WITH HIV AND DECREASES HIV TRANSMISSION AND INFECTION. FUNDING IS PROVIDED THROUGH THE DISTRICT OF DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH-HIV/AIDS, HEPATITUS, STD, TUBERCULOSIS ADMINISTRATION (HAHSTA).
