VICTIMS OF CRIME ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS - PROVIDES CRISIS INTERVENTION AND ONGOING COUNSELING SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES INVOLVED IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SITUATIONS.
VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN PROGRAMS - PROVIDES SERVICE FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSUALT, AND FAMILY VIOLENCE. EXPENSES: 69,673 MARYLAND LEGAL SERVICES CORPORATION - TO PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES TO LOW- INCOME VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN PROTECTIVE ORDER AND CERTAIN PEACE ORDER HEARINGS. EXPENSES: 48,694 PROGRAM SERVICES OPERATING FUNDS - THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED FOR THE FOLLOWING SPECIFIC PURPOSES: (A) TO SECURE, ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN SHELTERS FOR BATTERED SPOUSES AND ABUSED CHILDREN.
