VICTIMS OF CRIME ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS - PROVIDES CRISIS INTERVENTION AND ONGOING COUNSELING SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES INVOLVED IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SITUATIONS.


DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COUNSELING PROGRAM - PROVIDES COUNSELING, CRISIS INTERVENTION, AND SHELTER TO BOTH INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES INVOLVED IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.


RAPE CRISIS PROGRAM - PROVIDES CRISIS INTERVENTION AND COUNSELING TO VICTIMS OF ALL AGES - ADULTS AND CHILDREN, WHO HAVE BEEN SEXUALLY ABUSED/ASSAULTED. COUNSELING AND SUPPORT ARE PROVIDED TO THE VICTIM'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS AS WELL.


VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN PROGRAMS - PROVIDES SERVICE FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSUALT, AND FAMILY VIOLENCE. EXPENSES: 85,888 FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY - TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY FUNDS FOR SHELTER AND FOOD. EXPENSES: 450 GRANTS: 7,958 MARYLAND LEGAL SERVICES CORPORATION - TO PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES TO LOW- INCOME VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN PROTECTIVE ORDER AND CERTAIN PEACE ORDER HEARINGS. EXPENSES: 44,159 PROGRAM SERVICES OPERATING FUNDS - THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED FOR THE FOLLOWING SPECIFIC PURPOSES: (A) TO SECURE, ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN SHELTERS FOR BATTERED SPOUSES AND ABUSED CHILDREN. (B) TO PROVIDE INTERVENTION AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO SUCH SPOUSES AND CHILDREN EITHER DIRECTLY OR BY REFERRAL. (C) TO IMPROVE COMMUNITY UNDERSTANDING OF THE CAUSES AND CONSEQUENCES OF BATTERED SPOUSES AND ABUSED CHILDREN.
