THE MISSION OF BALTIMORE YOUTH HOCKEY IS TO TEACH THE YOUTH OF OUR COMMUNITY THE SPORT OF ICE HOCKEY,DEVELOP TEAM PLAY & SKILLS WHILE EMPHASIZING SPORTSMANSHIP,SELF DISCIPLINE & RESPECT FOR OTHERS.

BALTIMORE YOUTH HOCKEY SERVED OVER 275 YOUNG PEOPLE BY PROVIDING ICE HOCKEY INSTRUCTION AND REGIONAL COMPETITION AT THE TRAVEL AND RECREATIONAL LEVELS. THIS INCLUDED A MITES (AGE 8 AND UNDER) HOCKEY INSTRUCTION PROGRAM OF 69 SKATERS.
BALTIMORE YOUTH HOCKEY HOSTS AN ANNUAL PONYTAIL TOURNAMENT TO PROMOTE THE GROWTH AND IMPROVEMENT OF GIRLS ICE HOCKEY WHILE PROVIDING AN IMPORTANT REGIONAL COMPETITION. IN MARCH OF 2024 OVER 746 PLAYERS REPRESENTING 44 TEAMS PARTICIPATED IN 74 GAMES DURING THE WEEKEND EVENT.
THE PATTERSON PARK PROGRAM PROVIDES ICE HOCKEY INSTRUCTION AT NO COST TO CITY YOUTH WHO MIGHT NOT OTHERWISE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY. DURING THE 2023/2024 SEASON 109 YOUNGSTERS REGISTERED FOR THE PROGRAM AND 70 OF THOSE ATTENDED THE PROGRAM REGULARLY.
