LOBBYING-NORML LOBBIES CONGRESS AND THE STATE LEGISLATURES ON LEGISLATION PERTAINING TO MARIJUANA POLICY; MONITORS FEDERAL AGENCIES REGARDING MARIJUANA AND MARIJUANA POLICY; MAINTAINS A WEB-BASED PROGRAM WHICH FACILITATES GRASSROOTS LOBBYING ON MARIJUANA POLICY IN ALL FIFTY STATE LEGISLATURES AND CONGRESS; FACILITATES A NETWORK OF VOLUNTEER CITIZEN ACTIVISTS WORKING TO CHANGE MARIJUANA LEGISLATION.


RESOURCES- NORML MAINTAINS A LEGAL COMMITTEE COMPRISED OF DEFENSE ATTORNEYS PRACTICING IN THE AREA OF MARIJUANA CHARGES. THE COMMITTEE OFFERS ASSISTANCE TO COLLEAGUES REGARDING DEFENSE OF MARIJUANA CHARGES AND RENDER UP TO DATE INFORMATION REGARDING CURRENT LEGISLATION ANDDEVELOPMENTS.
