POLICY - NBCDI POLICY INITIATIVES ARE DESIGNED TO ADVANCE POLICIES AND PROGRAMS THAT WILL POSITIVELY IMPACT BLACK CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. THROUGH POLICY INITIATIVES, NBCDI HOSTS BRIEFINGS, FOCUS GROUPS, SEMINARS, CONVENINGS AND OTHER COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT EVENTS.
NATIONAL AFFILIATE NETWORK - THE NATIONAL AFFILIATE NETWORK IS COMPOSED OF CHAPTERS ACROSS THE U.S. THAT NBCDI PARTNERS WITH TO IMPLEMENT PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES THAT IMPROVE AND ADVANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR BLACK CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.
CONFERENCE AND MEMBERSHIP - NBCDI'S ANNUAL CONFERENCE FOCUSES ON THE PRESSING ISSUES OF THE DAY, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, CAPACITY BUILDING, BEST PRACTICES, CUTTING EDGE SOLUTIONS AND RESEARCH THAT IMPACT BLACK CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. IN ADDITION, NBCDI PROVIDES INFORMATION, PUBLICATIONS AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING TO ITS NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP BASE. MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS INCLUDE REDUCED FEES TO THE ANNUAL NATIONAL CONFERENCE AND DISCOUNTS ON THE PURCHASE OF NBCDI CURRICULA.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES - NBCDI PROVIDES FAMILY ENGAGEMENT, HEALTH AND WELLNESS, AND LITERACY PROGRAMS AND CURRICULA THAT BENEFIT BLACK CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES. NBCDI PARTNERS WITH THE NATIONAL AFFILIATE NETWORK TO IMPLEMENT THEM.
