GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS - ACTIVITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: ENCOURAGE, DEVELOP AND PROTECT THE BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY. PROMOTE CONFIDENCE AND GOODWILL WITHIN THE BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY AND BETWEEN THIS INDUSTRY AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. PROVIDE LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES UPDATES. PERPETUATE AND DEFEND THE FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM AND MERIT SHOP PHILOSOPHY BY PARTICIPATING IN THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS. PROMOTE FOR MUTUAL BENEFIT MAJORITY, WOMEN AND MINORITY MEMBERS.
MEETINGS AND SPECIAL EVENTS - ACTIVITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: ORGANIZE AND PROMOTE MEETINGS, SEMINARS, CONFERENCES, PUBLICATIONS AND OTHER MEDIA OF ALL KINDS IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN A WELL-INFORMED INDUSTRY AND GENERAL PUBLIC.
