THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MOVERS REPRESENTS FORWARDERS WHO HANDLE DEPTARTMENT OF DEFENSE, OTHER GOVERNMENTAL AND COMMERCIAL HOUSEHOLD SHIPMENTS. FOUNDED IN 1962, IAM IS DEDICATED TO FOSTERING AN INDUSTRY WIDE COMMITMENT TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF INTERNATIONAL HOUSEHOLD GOODS MOVING SERVICES. IAM WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE U.S. CONGRESS, DEPT. OF DEFENSE, FEDERAL AGENCIES AND OTHERS TO ENSURE AN ENVIRONMENT THAT ALLOWS THE INDUSTRY TO QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY RESPOND TO THE NEEDS OF AMERICA'S MILITARY, FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE COMMERCIAL SHIPPERS.
