THE GROUP HOME WHICH CONSISTS OF A LONG-TERM CARE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM FOR BOYS AND GIRLS AGES 13 TO 21 AND A GROUP EXTENDED LIVING PROGRAM FOR YOUNG MEN OR WOMEN AGES 17 TO 21.
THE DIAGNOSTIC PROGRAM WHICH IS A 16-BED FACILITY FOR GIRLS AGES 13-19, WHO REQUIRE INTENSIVE THERAPEUTIC AND DIAGNOSTIC INTERVENTIONS IN A SECURE SETTING. THE DURATION OF STAY IS TYPICALLY BETWEEN 90 AND 120 DAYS, DURING WHICH TIME RESIDENTS RECEIVE PSYCHIATRIC AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES, IN ADDITION TO GROUP, FAMILY, AND INDIVIDUAL THERAPY. THE GOAL IS TO STABILIZE CHILDREN, WHILE DETERMINING THE MOST APPROPRIATE PLACEMENT.
THE TREATMENT FOSTER CARE PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES TEMPORARY, SPECIALIZED CARE TO YOUTH WITH BEHAVIORAL OR SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS. THIS PROGRAM SERVES BOYS AND GIRLS AGES 3 TO 18 IN STRUCTURED TREATMENT FOSTER HOMES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
THE EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR BOYS AND GIRLS, WHICH IS AN 8-BED, SHORT-TERM EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR BOYS AND GIRLS 8 TO 13 YEARS OF AGE NEEDING IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THEIR PRESENT LIVING SITUATIONS.TRANSITIONAL LIVING, WHICH IS AN 8-BED RESIDENTIAL TRANSITION PROGRAM FOR BOYS 13 TO 17 YEARS OF AGE PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE DIAGNOSTIC AND THERAPEUTIC PROGRAMMING WITH INTENSE SUPERVISION IN A HOME-LIKE SETTING. DIAGNOSTIC TYPE III EDUCATION, WHICH IS A PROGRAM TO PROVIDE DIAGNOSTIC RESIDENTS WITH SCHOOL INSTRUCTION BY CERTIFIED TEACHERS WITH CURRICULUM FOLLOWING THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE BALTIMORE COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM.
