UNITED WAY OF FREDERICK COUNTY MOBILIZES THE CARING POWER OF OUR WHOLE COMMUNITY TO IMPROVE LIVES. WE SET AND ACHIEVE AMBITIOUS GOALS BY INVESTING IN PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE LONG-TERM IMPACT, FOCUSING ON LOWER-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS THAT CANNOT AFFORD THE HIGH COST OF LIVING. WE PROVIDE PATHWAYS TO FINANCIAL SECURITY THROUGH OUR PROSPERITY CENTER PROGRAMS, PRODUCE AN ALICE REPORT TO IDENTIFY COMMUNITY NEEDS AND SOLUTIONS, AND RUN A ROBUST YEAR-ROUND VOLUNTEER PROGRAM. OUR ANNUAL UNITY CAMPAIGN RAISES FUNDS TO SUPPORT LOCAL NONPROFITS, AND WE ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY THROUGH COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS THAT DRIVE SYSTEMATIC CHANGE.
