STARS KIDS SUMMER PROGRAM TO AID AT RISK YOUTH BY KEEPING THE BUSY DURING THE SUMMER IN A POSITIVE MANNER... (HAD 20 YOUTH THIS SUMMER) 3. SGVHV STAR GROUP VETERANS HELPING VETERANS PROGRAM IS A PROGRAM THAT CONSIST OF CONCERNED CITIZENS AND VETERANS WHO SUPPORT VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THEY ARE ALSO A VOICE IN THE COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT THE VET TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE CHALLENGES OF VETERANS. VARIOUS PROGRAMS INCLUDE SERVICE OFFICERS TO ASSIST VETERANS WITH THEIR DISABILITY CLAIMS AND NEEDS (SERVED 50 VETERANS); CANCER SURVIVOR PROGRAM (SERVED 98 PEOPLE); BACK TO SCHOOL PROGRAM THAT GIVES OUT 150 BACKPACKS FULL OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES (SERVED 150 YOUTH). THANKSGIVING BAG PROGRAM THAT GIVES OUT 500 BASKETS WITH TURKEY AND COMPLETE MEAL AND HOLIDAY HELP PROGRAM THAT ASSIST AREA SMALL NON-PROFITS. (SERVED 500 FAMILIES TOTAL 2750 PEOPLE)
