THE MISSION OF OPEN DOOR IS TO PROVIDE A SUPPORTIVE ATMOSPHERE AND THE CIRCUMSTANCES AND DIRECTIONS THAT FOSTER HUMAN DEVELOPMENT THROUGH PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION, THE PROFOUND OPENING AND INTEGRATING OF AWARENESS WITH ALL LIFE EXPERIENCE, AND THE ENTHUSIASTIC EXPLORATION OF HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS. THIS IS FOSTERED BY THE PRACTICE AND ACTIVITIES OF A GROUP OF DEDICATED PEOPLE.

OPEN DOOR TEACHINGS OFFERS A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO PARTICIPANTS. PARTICIPANTS SUBMIT AN APPLICATION DESCRIBING THEIR PARTICIPATION IN OPEN DOOR, WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE A SCHOLARSHIP FOR AND HOW IT SUPPORTS THE MISSION OF OPEN DOOR. A COMMITTEE OF PARTICIPANTS REVIEWS THE APPLICATION AND DECIDES BY VOTE WHETHER TO AWARD THE SCHOLARSHIP. ONCE A SCHOLARSHIP IS AWARDED AND THE PARTICIPANT ATTENDS THE EVENT, THEY REPORT BACK TO THE PARTICIPANTS OF OPEN DOOR THROUGH THE LIST SERVE DESCRIBING THEIR EXPERIENCE OF THE EVENT. 7 PARTICIPANTS WERE AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS IN 2015 FOR A TOTAL OF $2710.00.
