THE PRIMARY FUNCTION OF BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER AUXILIARY IS TO SUPPORT AND FURTHER THE MISSION OF SOUTHERN BAPTIST HOSPITAL OF FLORIDA, INC., A 501(C)(3) HOSPITAL, BY SUPPLEMENTING THE WORK OF HOSPITAL STAFF IN DELIVERING EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE TO THE PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER AUXILIARY ALSO CONTRIBUTES FINANCIALLY, THROUGH VARIOUS FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES BY ITS APPROXIMATELY 32 FULL AND PART TIME UNPAID VOLUNTEERS. THE VOLUNTEERS ASSIST IN OPERATING A HOSPITAL GIFT SHOP, A BABY PHOTO SERVICE, A ROLLING FOOD SERVICE, AND OTHER SPECIAL PROJECTS HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR THAT SUPPORT VARIOUS OPERATIONAL AND CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE HOSPITAL AND ITS EMPLOYEES.

OTHER FUND RAISING EVENTS WERE HELD DURING THE YEAR.
