THE FOUNDATION OPERATES EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING FUNDS AND OTHER APPROPRIATE ASSETS FROM THE PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SECTOR TO IMPROVE THE DELIVERY OF HEALTHCARE AT JACKSON HEALTH SYSTEM; SUPPORT TEACHING AND TRAINING PROGRAMS IN HEALTHCARE; SUPPORT MEDICAL AND SURGICAL TREATMENTS AT THE HOSPITAL; SUPPORT INSTRUCTION AND TRAINING OF PERSONNEL; SUPPORT THE HOSPITAL'S CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS WITHIN THE MEDICAL CAMPUS.
INTERNATIONAL KIDS FUND (IKF) IS A PHILANTHROPIC PROGRAM THAT HELPS CRITICALLY ILL CHILDREN PRIMARILY FROM LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN GAIN IMMEDIATE ACCESS TO ESSENTIAL MEDICAL TREATMENTS THAT ARE UNAVAILABLE IN THEIR RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES. IKF SUCCESSFULLY RAISES FUNDS AND ADMINISTERS PROACTIVE ASSISTANCE FOR FOREIGN CHILDREN WITH URGENT HEALTH CARE NEEDS TO RECEIVE EXPERT ATTENTION AT THE HOLTZ CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL IN THE JACKSON HEALTH SYSTEM.
