GEORGIA HUMANITIES ORGANIZES AND CARRIES OUT PROGRAMS THAT BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER IN LEARNING AND CONVERSATION THAT TAKE PLACE IN LIBRARIES, MUSEUMS, HISTORICAL SOCIETIES AND OTHER COMMUNITY VENUES IN CITIES AND SMALL TOWNS. GEORGIA HUMANITIES ALSO CONVENES PROGRAMS FOR TEACHERS, STUDENTS, AND FAMILIES. CORE PROGRAMS INCLUDE GRANTS (SUPPORTED BY STATE OF GEORGIA FUNDS), NATIONAL HISTORY DAY GEORGIA, AND THE NEW GEORGIA ENCYCLOPEDIA (ONLINE PUBLICATION).
