THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED: ENTRY FEES FOR PARTICIPATION BY UPLAND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN COMPETITION AND SHOW EVENTS; FUNDS FOR MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN LEADERSHIP SEMINARS, MUSIC AND COLOR GUARD CAMPS; AND PURCHASE OF MUSIC, UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO FUNDED PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIONS THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
