SGNA CARRIES OUT ITS MISSION BY ADVANCING THE SCIENCE AND PRACTICE OF GASTROENTEROLOGY AND ENDOSCOPY NURSING THROUGH EDUCATION, RESEARCH, ADVOCACY, AND COLLABORATION, AND BY PROMOTING THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF ITS MEMBERS IN AN ATMOSPHERE OF MUTUAL SUPPORT.

THE SOCIETY HELD AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE THAT INCLUED SPEAKERS AND SESSIONS IN THE FIELD OF GASTROENTEROLOGY.
SGNA IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR GI NURSES AND ASSOCIATES THAT APPROPRIATELY FITS THEIR NEEDS. THE SOCIETY OFFERS A GROWING LIBRARY OF ONLINE EDUCATION MODULES THAT ALLOWS MEMBERS TO OBTAIN ADDITIONAL EDUCATION CREDITS WITHOUT HAVING TO TRAVEL TO A TRAINING SEMINAR.
