ELECTRICAL TRADE LABOR UNION TO PROMOTE THE MATERIAL AND INTELLECTUAL WELFARE OF ITS MEMBERS.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE UNION AS THE REPRESENTATIVE OF ITS MEMBERS, ARE TO IMPROVE WORKING CONDITIONS AND LIVING STANDARDS OF ITS MEMBERS THROUGH COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE BENEFITS AND TO ESTABLISH NECESSARY PROCEDURES FOR THE AMICABLE RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES WHICH MAY ARISE BETWEEN EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYEES.


THE BUILDING FUND WAS ESTABLISHED TO SEPARATE THE OPERATIONS OF THE BUILDING, INCLUDING MAINTENANCE, WHERE THE UNION HAS OFFICES. DUES OF $3.25 PER MONTH FROM EACH MEMBER ARE TRANSFERRED FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE BUILDING FUND TO COVER EXPENSES.


THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND WAS ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE CHILDREN OF UNION MEMBERS WHO MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AS DEFINED BY THE UNION BY-LAWS.
