TO PROVIDE AN ENJOYABLE, SAFE,YEAR-ROUND, MULTI-USE PUBLIC FACILITY EMPHASIZING OPPURTUNITIES IN EDUCATION, AGRICULTURAL AND RECREATION THAT ENHANCES PARTNERSHIPS IN BUILDING A STRONGER COMMUNITY.

THE PRIMARY ACHIEVEMENT AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO ORGANIZE AND OPERATE THE ANNUAL COUNTY FAIR. THE 4 DAY EVENT THE END OF JULY IS FOR DISPLAYING THE PROJECTS OF THE 159 4-H YOUTH AND 65 COMMUNITY MEMBERS. IN 2021 APPROXIMATELY 4500 COMMUNITY MEMBERS ATTENDED THE FAIR. THE FAIRGROUND AND ITS FACILITIES ARE ALSO OPEN AND MAINTAINED YEAR ROUND FOR USE BY 4-H AND OTHER COMMUNITY GROUPS.
A HIGHLIGHT OF THE FAIR IS THE ANNUAL FAIR AUCTION. IN 2021, 94 YOUTH SHOWED AND SOLD 85 ANIMALS. THIS IS THE FIRST AUCTION FOR MANY OF THE YOUNG EXHIBITORS. THEY RECIEVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND COLLECTED $68231 DIRECTLY FROM THE SALE FOR THEIR HARD WORK.
