AFFORDABLE HOUSING - SIMPLE, DECENT AFFORDABLE HOMES AND COMMUNITIES FOR FAMILIES IN NEED. THE ORGANIZATION STARTED 3 NEW HOMES AND COMPLETED 3 NEW HOMES TO BE SOLD AT NO PROFIT ADDED AND ZERO PERCENT INTEREST LOANS TO QUALIFYING LOW-INCOME FAMILIES. DURING THE YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION SOLD 3 NEW HOMES. THIS PROGRAM INVOLVED MORE THAN 1,101 COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS IN THE EFFORT TO BUILD SIMPLE, DECENT, AFFORDABLE HOMES AND TO REBUILD THESE INNER CITY NEIGHBORHOODS. COST OF HOMES SOLD OF $487,928 WAS NETTED AGAINST GROSS REVENUE OF $485,054 IN THE REVENUE AMOUNT ABOVE.
FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAMS - SEVERAL COMMONCENTS CLASSES WERE OFFERED AT LOCAL COMMUNITY CENTERS TO INCLUDE INSTRUCTION ON BUDGETING, HOME MAINTENANCE AND LANDSCAPING.
RESTORE AND OTHER PROGRAMS - OPERATED 3 RESTORE LOCATIONS TO SELL DONATED BUILDING MATERIALS THEREBY DIVERTING APPROXIMATELY 1,983 TONS OF MATERIALS FROM LANDFILLS. COST OF DONATED ITEMS SOLD OF $1,688,019 WAS NETTED AGAINST GROSS REVENUE OF $1,688,019 IN THE REVENUE AMOUNT ABOVE.
