THE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION SPONSORS EIGHT WOMEN'S SPORTS AND SEVEN MEN'S SPORTS WHICH COMPETE IN DIVISION I OF THE NCAA AND IN THE MISSOURI VALLEY CONFERENCE. GRANTS IN THE FORM OF SCHOLARSHIPS WERE MADE TO 260 STUDENT-ATHLETES AND 20 STUDENT TEAM MANAGERS.
