FIRST RESPONDER CONFERENCE: PROVIDED TRAINING FOCUSING ON THE STRESSORS EXPERIENCED BY FIRST RESPONDERS AND THEIR SPOUSES/PARTNERS AND PROVIDE THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH WAYS TO REMAIN EMOTIONALLY AND SPIRITUALLY HEALTHY. THE CONFERENCE ALSO PROVIDED AN OPPORTUNITY TO THANK AND RECOGNIZE THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO SERVE OUR COMMUNITIES. THE FOUNDATION INTENDS TO MAKE THIS AN ANNUAL EVENT AND HAS BRANDED IT AS "PUT THE FIRSTS 1ST".
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: THE GSCPS FOUNDATION PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO INDIVIDUALS SEEKING A CAREER AS A FIRST RESPONDER WHICH INCLUDES LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIRE FIGHTING AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES.
COMMUNITY OUTPOST HOUSE: THE GSCPS FOUNDATION OWNS THE COMMUNITY OUPOST HOUSE LOCATED AT 606 13TH AVENUE SOUTH IN ST. CLOUD, MINNESOTA WHICH IS OCCUPIED BY THE ST. CLOUD POLICE DEPARTMENT. THE HOUSE LOCATION ALLOWS LAW ENFORCEMENT TO REMAIN CLOSE TO THIS TROUBLED AREA IN ORDER TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE RESIDENTS, REDUCE CRIME AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. CENTRACARE HEALTH, GOLD CROSS AMBULANCE AND STEARNS COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES ALSO OCCUPY THE COP HOUSE ALONG WITH MANY OTHER ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE VITAL HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AS WELL AS FUN AND ENGAGING ACTIVITIES FOR NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.
COVID-19 PPE: PROVIDED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND OTHER SUPPORT TO FIRST RESPONDERS IN THREE-COUNTY AREA DURING COVID PANDEMIC.
