TO PROVIDE RURAL SCHOOL EDUCATORS WITH RESOURCES AND SUPPORT, REDUCING THE INHERENT ECONOMIC HARDSHIP OF BUDGETARY CONSTRAINTS.

THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS VARIOUS ACTIVITIES TO BENEFIT TEACHERS AND EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES. 1.TEACHER HOUSING PROGRAM: TEACHERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR LOW-COST, MONTHLY HOUSING FOR UP TO THREE CONTRACT YEARS. THE FIRST HOUSE WAS MADEE AVAILABLE IN 2022, WITH A FOUR-PLEX PLANNED IN 2023. IF THEY HAVE SAVED REQUIRED AMOUNT OF MONEY DURING THESE THREE YEARS, AND ARE IN A CONTRACT TO REMAIN A TEACHER IN DENT COUNTY, OUR FOUNDATION WILL PROVIDE THE TEACHER WITH A LOW DOWN PAYMENT, LOWER INTEREST RATE LOAN SO THEY CAN PURCHASE A HOME OF THEIR OWN WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY. 2.FLEMINGS ON 4TH: FLEMINGS, OUR BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION, WILL FEATURE: A SODA FOUNTAIN OPERATED BY THE FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA (FBLA); SEASONAL EVENTS; WEEKLY SPECIALS; COMMUNITY PROJECTS; RETAIL ITEMS AND AUCTIONS. ALL PROCEEDS, ABOVE OPERATING COSTS, WILL BENEFIT TEACHERS AND EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES IN DENT COUNTY. TEACHERS WHO VOLUNTEER WILL ALSO RECEIVE CREDITS FOR EACH HOUR WORKED TO OFFSET THE OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES THEY SPEND IN THEIR CLASSROOM AND FOR THEIR STUDENTS. 3.THE ORGANIZATION BELIEVES THAT PULLING TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY IS THE ONLY WAY THE GOALS OF THE ORGANIZATION CAN HAPPEN. EXECUTION OF THE ORGANIZATIONS IDEAS IS NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT TEAMWORK AND COMMUNITY WIDE SUPPORT. DURING THE YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION IDENTIFIED SEVERAL OTHER UNAFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT WITH CASH AND NONCASH GRANTS IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE ITS MISSION.
