THE VILLA AT FLORHAM PARK OPERATED A SKILLED NURSING AND ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY FOR ELDERLY RESIDENTS IN A FACILITY LICENSED FOR 56 SKILLED NURSING, 21 ASSISTED LIVING BEDS, AND 27 COMPREHENSIVE PERSONAL CARE UNITS. IT ALSO MADE AVAILABLE SHORT-TERM REHABILITATION TO ITS OWN RESIDENTS AS WELL AS THOSE IN THE COMMUNITY. CENSUS AT THE VILLA WAS LOWER DURING 2020 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND A SHORTAGE OF STAFF. AS A RESULT, MANAGEMENT MADE THE DECISION TO CLOSE THE FACILITY DURING 2021, AND THE FINAL RESIDENT WAS DISCHARGED ON JUNE 10, 2021. ON APRIL 27, 2023, THE VILLA WAS SOLD TO AN INDEPENDENT THIRD PARTY.
