THE CROSSOVER PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO DEVELOP CHARACTER, LEADERSHIP AND LIFE SKILLS IN STUDENTS DAILY LIVES. WE ENCOURAGE OUR STUDENTS TO STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE, STAY AWAY FROM GANG ACTIVITIES, AND SERVE THEIR COMMUNITIES. CROSSOVER WILL TAKE STUDENTS THROUGH ITS ACADEMY BY DOING IT D.E.B.S. WAY. ADULT MENTORS WILL CHALLENGE YOUTH TO DEVELOP THEIR CHARACTER IN FOUR AREAS: DEDICATION; EDUCATION; BELIEF; AND SERVICE (D.E.B.S.).DEDICATION: COMMIT TO A PURPOSE OR GOAL IN LIFE. EDUCATION: MAINTAIN A HIGH GPA AND READ SEVERAL BOOKS WHILE LEARNING BASIC LIFE SKILLS LIKE LEARNING HOW TO MAKE RIGHT CHOICES UNDER DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCESBELIEF: BELIEVING IN SOMETHING BIGGER THAN ONESELF.SERVICE: PARTICIPATING IN COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS.FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS CROSSOVER HAS SUCCESSFULLY WORKED TO DEVELOP BASIC LIFE SKILLS IN THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE. CROSSOVER PROPOSES TO PROVIDE AN EDUCATIONAL, LEADERSHIP, LIFE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT BY PROVIDING ADULT MENTORS.THIS YEAR'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDED HOLDING AND PARTICIPATING IN BASKETBALL LEAGUE GAMES AND TOURNAMENTS, PROVIDING TUTORING SERVICES AND HAVING MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER EVENTS.
