MISSIONARIES SERVED IN THE RGV IN YEAR 2021 CARING FOR 4,000 PATIENTS/CLIENTS (400 PATIENT ENCOUNTERS/MONTH) THROUGH VARIOUS MISSION PROJECTS IN SOUTH TEXAS. THEIR SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY WAS WITHOUT CHARGE. THEIR MINISTRY CONSISTED OF PRIMARY CARE CONSULTATION, NURSING AND WOUND CARE, BLOOD AND LAB TESTING, COVID AND OTHER DISEASE TESTING, CANCER SCREENINGS, HOME VISITS, LEGAL CONSULTATIONS, PRAYER AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT, AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SUCH AS AIDING PATIENTS IN PROCURING OTHER MEDICAL SERVICES NOT PROVIDED IN THE MINISTRY SUCH AS SPECIALTY VISITS, PHYSICAL THERAPY, DENTISTRY, RADIOLOGY TESTING, MEDICATION ASSISTANCE, AND EYE SURGERIES. THE AMFL BOARD AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORTERS HELPED TRAIN AND SEND QUALIFIED MISSIONARIES TO SERVE IN THESE AREAS IN SOME OF THE MOST NEEDIEST AREAS OF SOUTH TEXAS. SUPPORT FOR THE SERVICES OF THIS MISSION WERE MADE POSSIBLE IN THE YEAR 2021 THROUGH A GRANT, CORPORATE SPONSORS AND NUMEROUS OTHER DONORS/PARTNERS.
