TO REDUCE THE UNNECESSARY KILLING OF ANIMALS IN SHELTERS AND IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ANIMALS AND THEIR PEOPLE, INDOORS AND OUT, WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC, PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS, AND MUNICIPAL AGENCIES TO INNOVATE, SUPPORT, AND MODEL EFFORTS TO CREATE NO-KILL COMMUNITIES AND REMOVE THE NEED FOR ANIMAL SHELTERS AND SANCTUARIES.

END THE OVERPOPULATION, MISTREATMENT, NEGLECT, AND KILLING OF ANIMALS IN OURCOMMUNITY. WE WILL DO THIS THROUGH EDUCATION, AGGRESSIVE TNR, SPAY/NEUTER, FOSTER,REHOMING, ADOPTION AND PROGRAMS TARGETED AT SPECIAL POPULATIONS IN NEED SUCH ASFERALS, SENIORS AND FREE ROAMING MOTHER CATS.OUR FOCUS IS PREDOMINANTLY ON FELINES, AS THEY REPRESENT THE GREATEST NUMBERS INSHELTERS, FREE ROAMING, AND IN THE GREATEST DANGER OF BEING KILLED. WE ALSO ATTEND TOAND ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF OTHER HIGH RISK SPECIES SUCH AS RABBITS, DOGS, HORSES,DONKEYS AND OTHER OFTEN NEGLECTED AND ABUSED FARM ANIMALS.CURRENTLY WE ARE AGGRESSIVELY WORKING TO DRASTICALLY REDUCE THE NUMBER OF ANIMALSKILLED IN LOUISIANA. WE HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFULLY BUILDING A COALITION OF SMALL RESCUEGROUPS, ORGANIZATIONS AND ANIMAL LOVERS, TO MAXIMIZE OUR "FEET ON THE STREET". "FEETON THE STREET" CONSISTS OF TRAPPING CATS TO BE SPAYED AND NEUTERED AND RELEASED, ORRE-HOMED THROUGH OUR INNOVATIVE "RESCUE RANCH" BARN CAT, WORKING CATS PROGRAM.
