COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO BY GRANTING FUNDS TO ANOTHER ORGANIZATION CALLED LET AFRICA LIVE TO INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY CAPACITY IN TERMS OF WELDING, AUTO MECHANICS, AND CARPENTRY. THE GOAL OF THIS PROJECT IS TO (1) ALLOW FORMER TRAINEES TO HAVE ACCESS TO NEW TECHNOLOGIES, ESTABLISH MORE SKILLS, AND EFFECTIVELY SHAPE THEIR EARNING POTENTIAL; (2) ALLOW LET AFRICA LIVE TO GENERATE MORE INCOME FROM THE PROPOSED PRODUCTION WORKS THAT ARE COMMON AND USEFUL FOR PRODUCTION, CONSTRUCTION, MODIFICATION, AND CAR REPAIRS. THE PROJECT IS SERVING, FIRST, BOTH LET AFRICA LIVE TRAINEES AND FORMER STUDENTS, WHO WILL BE ABLE TO USE THESE WORKSHOP FACILITIES TO LEARN NEW TECHNOLOGIES, ESTABLISHING NEW SKILLS WHILE PROVIDING THE FINISHED PRODUCTS TO DIFFERENT CUSTOMERS. SECOND, THE POPULATION AT LARGE WHO LIVES IN BUKAVU AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS WILL BENEFIT FROM LET AFRICA LIVE'S ACTIVITIES.
