TO SUPPORT SONGWRITERS THROUGH FUNDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND SERVICES, AND THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH LIKE-MINDED INSTITUTIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS TO ENHANCE OPPORTUNITIIES FOR MUSIC CREATORS.

THE NMPA S.O.N.G.S. FOUNDATION HELPS ENABLE SONGWRITERS TO PURSUE THEIR PASSION THROUGH GRANTS AND DIRECT ASSISTANCE. IN FISCAL YEAR 2022, THE FOUNDATION PARTNERED WITH H&R BLOCK TO OFFER FREE TAX PREPARATION TO NASHVILLE AND LOS ANGELES AREA SONGWRITERS. ITS ENDOWMENTS TO MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY (MTSU), HOWARD UNIVERSITY, AND BELMONT UNIVERSITY CONTINUED TO MATURE. IT ALSO COMMITTED $100,000 TO SHE IS THE MUSIC TO CREATE A "SHE IS THE SONGWRITER" SONGWRITING CAMP IN NASHVILLE. THE FOUNDATION ALSO CONTINUED TO SUPPORT SHE IS THE MUSIC THROUGH AN ANNUAL $25,000 COMMITMENT.
