MARYLAND PHILANTROPY NETWORK (MPN) MAXIMIZES THE IMPACT OF PHILANTHROPIC GIVING THROUGH A NETWORK OF GRANTMAKERS. MPN MAXIMIZES THE IMPACT OF PHILANTHROPIC GIVING ON COMMUNITY LIFE THROUGH A GROWING NETWORK OF DIVERSE, INFORMED AND EFFECTIVE GRANTMAKERS.

MARYLAND PHILANTROPY NETWORK (MPN) IS A STATEWIDE MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION OF MORE THAN 130 PRIVATE AND COMMUNITY FOUNDATIONS, INTERMEDIARIES, CORPORATIONS, DONOR ADVISED FUNDS AND PUBLIC CHARITIES; MEMBERS STEWARD MORE THAN $9 BILLION IN FOUNDATION ASSETS. MPN PROVIDES CRITICAL INFORMATION AND SERVICES TO THE PHILANTHROPIC AND NONPROFIT COMMUNITIES THROUGH PROGRAMS AND WORKSHOPS TO EDUCATE, INSPIRE ACTION AND INFORM INVESTMENT. THE ORGANIZATION CONVENES MEMBERS TO ADDRESS ISSUES AND PROMOTE ALIGNMENT AND ACTION IN SECTORS SUCH AS HEALTH, EDUCATION, ARTS AND THE ENVIRONMENT. MPN ALSO REPRESENTS THE PHILANTHROPIC SECTOR TO KEY AUDIENCES, INCLUDING THE MEDIA, POLICYMAKERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
