FRONTERA FUND IS A PRACTICAL SUPPORT AND FINANCIAL ABORTION FUND FOR PEOPLE RESIDING IN THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY AND PEOPLE WHO ARE LIVING IN BORDER COMMUNITIES IN TEXAS.

FRONTERA FUND SPENT $78,770.00 IN FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND $26,018 IN PRACTICAL SUPPORT. BECAUSE OF THE PASSAGE OF SENATE BILL 8 IN TEXAS, FRONTERA FUND HAD TO SHIFT ITS PROGRAM SERVICES TO ACCOMMODATE THE INFLUX OF CLIENTS FORCED TO TRAVEL OUT OF STATE. FRONTERA FUND EXPANDED OUR GRANT CAPACITY FOR PRACTICAL SUPPORT BY 600% COMPARED TO 2020 IN RESPONSE TO SENATE BILL 8 IN TEXAS. WE SUPPORTED FRONTERA FUND CLIENTS WITH GROUND AND AIR TRANSPORTATION, LODGING, MEAL STIPENDS, AND CHILD CARE STIPENDS.
