S1 SUPPORTS A DIVERSE COMMUNITY OF ARTISTS AND CREATES ACCESS FOR MARGINALIZED FOLX TO EXPERIMENT, LEARN AND PARTICIPATE. OUR EDUCATIONAL AND PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS PRIORITIZE COMMUNITIES THAT ARE DISPROPORTIONATELY REPRESENTED IN THE ARTISTIC AND MUSICAL WORLDS. WE WORK TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL ARTISTS TO BECOME EDUCATORS, FOR EMERGING ARTISTS TO PERFORM AND EXHIBIT, AND FOR COMMUNITY TO ARISE AROUND MUSIC, VISUAL AND PERFORMANCE ART. WHILE OUR SPACE IS OPEN TO EVERYONE, OUR PLATFORM CENTERS WOMEN, NONBINARY, QTBIPOC AND LOW-INCOME FOLX.
