JD SHETH FOUNDATION'S HOME OF THE BRAVE PROJECT:JD SHETH FOUNDATION CONTINUED OUR SUSTAINABLE WORK IN 2022 THROUGH OUR HOME OF THE BRAVE INITIATIVE WHICH, IN A COLLABORATIVE MANNER, WE STARTED CONSTRUCTION ON THREE NEW HOMES TO PROVIDE HOMEOWNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS, WITH A PRIORITY GOING TO DISABLED FEMALE VETERANS. THIS PROJECT STARTED IN SEPTEMBER OF 2022 AND AT THE END OF THAT YEAR, THESE HOMES WERE ABOUT 50% COMPLETED WITH TOTAL COMPLETION IN FEBRUARY 2023.

IMANI MILELE CHILDREN:IN THE FALL OF 2022, JD SHETH WAS HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO SUPPORT IMANI MILELE CHILDREN (IMANI) BY HELPING WITH THE PURCHASE OF SOLAR PANELS AND THE DRILLING OF A NEW WATER WELL. IMANI OPERATES EIGHT EDUCATIONAL CENTERS THROUGHOUT UGANDA, SERVING OVER 4,000 CHILDREN. SOLAR PANELS WERE INSTALLED TO PROVIDE TROAS PRIMARY SCHOOL WITH MORE RELIABLE POWER THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL DAY. THE SOLAR PANELS WILL ALSO POWER THE PUMP FOR THE NEW WATER WELL. THE WELL WAS DRILLED ON SCHOOL PROPERTY IN NOVEMBER 2022 TO PROVIDE THE CHILDREN, TEACHERS, AND STAFF WITH A MORE CONSISTENT WATER SOURCE DURING DROUGHT CONDITIONS.
