THE TECHNOLOGY COALITION DEVELOPED AND LAUNCHED PROJECT PROTECT -- AN INITIATIVE DESIGNED TO REVITALIZE, REINVENT, AND UP-LEVEL THE TECHNOLOGY COALITION'S WORK AND THAT OF ITS MEMBER COMPANIES IN COMBATING CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND ABUSE (CSEA) ONLINE. IT CREATES A NEW BLUEPRINT FOR COLLECTIVE ACTION DRIVEN BY TECHNICAL INNOVATION AND BEST PRACTICES FROM INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS
THE TECHNOLOGY COALITION ESTABLISHED A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UNICEF'S GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN (EVAC) TO IDENTIFY AND ADVANCE RESEARCH PROJECTS THAT WILL PROVIDE MEANINGFUL AND ACTIONABLE EVIDENCE FOR THE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND ABUSE ONLINE.
THE TECHNOLOGY COALITION HAS FINALIZED AND DISTRIBUTED RESOURCES FOR ITS MEMBERS, INCLUDING A COMPREHENSIVE STARTER KIT FOR NEW MEMBERS AND GUIDANCE ON HOW TO PREPARE FOR AND ISSUE AN INDIVIDUAL COMPANY TRANSPARENCY REPORT. ADDITIONALLY A SERIES OF WEBINARS FOR MEMBERS WERE HOSTED INCLUDING A REVIEW OF VIDEO HASHING, A DISCUSSION OF THE EVOLVING LEGAL LANDSCAPE, AND A BRIEFING ON THE LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY ENVIRONMENT IN EUROPE.
