GIRL VOW IS FOCUSED ON MINIMIZING THE RISKS OF GIRLS/LGBTQ YOUTH IMPACTED BY JUVENILE JUSTICE, POVERTY, AND FOSTER CARE BY PROVIDING DIRECT SERVICES, COLLABORATIONS WITH PRIVATE, AND PUBLIC ENTERPRISES IN ORDER TO HELP TRANSITION DISADVANTAGED YOUTH INTO SERVICES THAT WILL LEAD TO CAREER SUSTAINABILITY, TRAINING, OR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION. GIRL VOW IS DESIGNED TO ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF GIRLS/LGBTQ YOUTH WHO ARE FORGOTTEN, HIGH RISK, FOR WHOM IT IS DIFFICULT TO OBTAIN A FOSTER HOME PLACEMENT, ARE IMPACTED BY POVERTY, OR HAVE EXPERIENCED INCARCERATION.
