Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
THE COMMUNITY BONDING AND WELLNESS PROGRAM IS DEDICATED TO SUPPORTING AND ORGANIZING A SERIES OF ENGAGING COMMUNITY EVENTS AIMED AT PROMOTING UNITY, OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, AND A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE THROUGH EXERCISE AND RUNNING. THIS YEAR, WE ORGANIZED A 50K RACE, GROUP RUNNING AND TEACHING RUNNING BASICS, AS WELL AS VOLUNTEERED IN THE SOMERSET JULY 4TH CELEBRATION EVENT.
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CORYMBIA ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM, WE SUCCESSFULLY HOSTED TWO IMPACTFUL INITIATIVES THIS YEAR. THE FIRST INVOLVED ORGANIZING A NINE-DAY EXPEDITION IN DECEMBER 2023, EXPLORING THE CHILE CALAMA DESERT AND THE PATAGONIA MOUNTAIN REGION TO WITNESS AND STUDY THE EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE. THE SECOND INITIATIVE SAW OUR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION AS DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS IN THE MT. RAINIER MEADOW ROVERS PROGRAM, CONTRIBUTING TO THE PRESERVATION AND EDUCATION EFFORTS IN THIS NATURAL HABITAT.
THE CHINA REUNION AND PROGRAM FOLLOW-UP MARKED A SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE AS WE RETURNED TO SICHUAN AFTER THE COVID LOCKDOWN. REUNITING WITH VOLUNTEERS AND PROGRAM COORDINATORS AND PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS OF THE CORYMBIA SUMMER TEACHING PROGRAM, OUR PRIMARY FOCUS WAS TO ASSESS THE CURRENT STATUS AND GROWTH PATHS OF THE STUDENTS WHO HAD PARTICIPATED IN OUR PROGRAM. WE DILIGENTLY TRACKED THEIR PROGRESS, GAINING VALUABLE INSIGHTS INTO THE IMPACT OF OUR INITIATIVES. THIS EXPERIENCE ALLOWED US TO WITNESS FIRSTHAND THE POSITIVE INFLUENCE OF OUR PROGRAM ON THE STUDENTS AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE BETTERMENT OF THE COMMUNITY.
