WE CONTINUED THE DESIGN YOUR HABITAT CAMPAIGN (HTTPS://WWW.SCIARTEX.NET/DESIGN-YOUR-HABITAT.HTML), INITIATED IN 2020, TO SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY DURING SOCIAL DISTANCING. CONTESTS, EVENTS AND INDIVIDUALIZED TRAINING: 1) NASA COMMERCIAL CREW PROGRAM CHILDREN'S ART CONTEST - IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NASA COMMERCIAL CREW PROGRAM, SCIART EXCHANGE EXECUTED AN INTERNATIONAL ART CONTEST FOR CHILDREN AGED 4-12 (HTTPS://WWW.NASA.GOV/FEATURE/COMMERCIAL-CREW- ARTWORK-CONTEST). THE CONTEST CLOSED IN EARLY JANUARY 2021. THE INTENT OF THE ACTIVITY WAS TO SPREAD INTEREST & EXCITEMENT ABOUT HUMAN SPACE EXPLORATION. 2) EVENTS - SINCE 2021 WAS STILL AFFECTED BY SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIREMENTS, SCIART EXCHANGE ENGAGED MOSTLY IN VIRTUAL DISPLAYS & EVENTS, SHARING ARTWORK FROM VARIOUS ACTIVITIES AND THEIR EXPERIENCE. 3) TRAINING - SCIART EXCHANGE CONTINUED TO PRESENT MATERIALS THROUGH LECTURES, HANDS-ON, & WORKSHOP FORMATS TO HELP TRAIN PARTICIPANTS IN SPACE EXPLORATION, SCIENCE COMMUNICATION, CREATIVITY & TEAMWORK USING ART-INTEGRATION TECHNIQUES, BUT THESE MATERIALS WERE PRESENTED LARGELY VIRTUALLY.
