FINE ART ASSEMBLIES IN AREA SCHOOLS: FINE ART ASSEMBLIES WERE HELD AT 11 SCHOOLS IN FAYETTE COUNTY. APPROXIMATELY 4,762 CHILDREN AND 492 ADULTS WERE SERVED BY THESE FREE PROGRAMS.
SUMMER ART CAMP & SUMMER ART WORKSHOPS: SUMMER ART CAMP AND SUMMER ART WORKSHOPS WERE OFFERED IN 2021 FOR 211 CHILDREN. THESE CAMPS WERE OFFERED AT SIGNIFICANT DISCOUNT TO THOSE ATTENDING, WHEN COMPARED TO ACTUAL COSTS. A FEW SCHOLARSHIPS WERE OFFERED TO QUALIFYING STUDENTS.
ART AFTER SCHOOL: ARTS FOR RURAL TEXAS OFFERS ART AFTER SCHOOL IN FAYETTE COUNTY. ART AFTER SCHOOL CULTIVATES CREATIVITY THROUGHOUT SCHOOLS IN RURAL TEXAS. THE CLASSES ARE DESIGNED TO INTRODUCE CHILDREN TO THE ARTS BY WHICH THEY BUILD CONFIDENCE AND DEVELOP QUALITY LIFE SKILLS. 263 CHILDREN FROM 1ST GRADE THRU 6TH GRADE PARTICIPATED DURING 2021.
